Progress with Purpose:

A Vision for Tomorrow, A Commitment to Today

About Me

Sierra Vista has been my home, my community, and the place my wife, Kristy, and I chose to raise our family almost 20 years ago. I retired from the Army in 2010 after 21 years as an intelligence officer and have continued serving our nation as a Department of the Army Civilian Professional on Fort Huachuca.

Kristy has been an elementary school educator with Sierra Vista Unified since 2007 and has served as an Instructional Coach at Village Meadows Elementary School since 2019. Our children, Tyler and Kylie, attended Sierra Vista public schools and graduated at the top of their classes. Raising a family here has strengthened my commitment to ensuring Sierra Vista remains a safe, welcoming, and forward‑looking community — the kind of place our children and future grandchildren will be proud to call home.

I’m running for City Council because I care deeply about the future of our city and the people who live here. My approach to leadership is rooted in service, integrity, and a genuine commitment to listening. I believe in protecting our natural resources — especially our precious water supply — and in supporting strong public safety, thoughtful growth, and investments that enhance our quality of life, from parks and recreation to economic opportunity. I value collaboration and transparency, and I’m dedicated to making decisions that reflect the needs and voices of our residents.

Whether it’s supporting local businesses, advocating for responsible development, or preserving the character that makes Sierra Vista unique, I’m committed to helping our community thrive. I’m running because I believe in this city — and in what we can accomplish together.

I’m running for Sierra Vista City Council because I believe in the strength, resilience, and potential of our community. Sierra Vista is a place defined by its natural beauty, its diverse residents, and its deep connection to service. I’m seeking a seat on the council to help protect what makes our city special while working toward a future that reflects our shared values.

My priorities are rooted in stewardship and community. I’m committed to protecting our water resources and supporting long‑term environmental sustainability. I believe in strong public safety that equips first responders and strengthens trust between the community and those who serve it. I support thoughtful, balanced growth that respects our character while preparing us for tomorrow. I want to invest in our parks, trails, and recreational spaces because they bring us together and enrich our quality of life. And I’m dedicated to building a vibrant, resilient local economy that supports small businesses, creates opportunity, and strengthens our partnership with Fort Huachuca.

This campaign is about collaboration, transparency, and practical solutions. It’s about listening to residents, honoring our shared values, and working together to build a Sierra Vista we can all be proud of. I’m ready to serve — and I’m ready to get to work.

My Platform

At the heart of every decision I make is a simple belief: Sierra Vista thrives when we take care of our people, our resources, and our future.

  • Protecting our water ensures that generations to come can call this place home.

  • Supporting public safety keeps our neighborhoods strong and connected.

  • Thoughtful growth preserves the character we cherish while preparing us for tomorrow.

  • Investing in parks and recreation strengthens our sense of community and well‑being.

  • Building a resilient economy creates opportunity for families, businesses, and the next generation.

  • Responsibly maintaining our roads and infrastructure helps keep Sierra Vista safe, efficient and resilient long into the future.

These priorities are not separate — they are deeply interconnected, rooted in a commitment to stewardship, community, and shared responsibility.
